The Visual Basic 6.0 run time files may not have installed properly on your PC during the installation of WinSTIPS.
Visual Basic 6.0 run time files are installed by VBRun60sp5.exe.
You can obtain VBRun60sp5.exe from:
-- The ServiceSoftware Web site: VBRun60sp5.exe. (To download VBRun60sp5.exe, right click the file name and choose 'Save Target As')
-- On your WinSTIPS CD in a folder named TOOLS
Here are the step-by-step instructions:
1 - Obtain VBRun60sp5.exe from ServiceSoftware.com or locate this file on your WinSTIPS CD
2 - Run VBRun60sp5.exe by double clicking it
3 - When VBRun60sp5.exe starts, it will ask if you want to install the Visual Basic 6.0 run time files (see image below). Click 'Yes'.
4 - The Visual Basic 6.0 run time files will be installed
5 - Start WinSTIPS
